South Dallas will soon be home to the city’s newest greenspace known as Southern Gateway Park. Spanning I-35E adjacent to the Dallas Zoo, it’s being hailed as a “park with a purpose”. To the west is the 16 acres that used to be Dean Foods’ Oak Farms a walkable, mixed-use community is the plan to attract jobs and people across the Trinity River. Speakers April Allen with Southern Gateway Park and Philip Wise with Cienda Partners will provide insight in the planning of these new projects.

Given the surge in Covid during this time, we will have a maximum capacity of 80 at this event for in person and will space the tables so that there are 6 people to a table. Masks will be required while in motion (arrival, during networking time, after being adjourned and leaving etc.) and can be taken off when seated for the meal and program.
Virtual attendees can participate in networking starting at 11:45.
