Sara, was the co-author with Linda Babcock of Women Don't Ask and the grounbreaking study that first focused public attention on the forces preventing women from negotiating on their own behalf. She and Linda Babcock subsequently wrote Ask For It: How Women Can Use the Power of Negotiation to Get What they Really Want
, a nuts-and-bolts negotiation training primer for women struggling to overcome the barriers in their path. Her writing about women and work has been published by The New York Times, The Harvard Business Review, The Guardian, Vogue, Glamour, and many other publications. She is frequently cited in the national and international media as an expert on the persistence of the wage gap, work-life balance issues, and the multiple factors influencing woment's long-term career success. A highly sought-after speaker, Sara lectures and teaches workshops to corporate audiences, colleges and universities, law firms, government agencies, and women's leadership conferences in the U.S. and around the world. She also provides private and group coaaching services to women navigating critical career transitions.
